Prior to joining the firm, she served as a prosecutor, where she conducted felony prosecutions in both jury and bench trials and handled all phases of litigation, including evidentiary assessment, charging decisions, discovery management, and witness preparation. She also worked on insurance-related matters involving claims evaluation, coverage analysis, and litigation support.
She has additional experience in labor and employment and education law, including representation in both administrative and judicial proceedings.
Earlier in her career, Isabel served as a judicial law clerk, where she developed her legal research and writing skills at the court level. She has also worked in the legislative arena at both the municipal and state levels, participating in the drafting of legislation, as well as the preparation of testimony and formal submissions before legislative bodies.
She is admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico and is a Notary Public.
